Leather is such a beautiful craft — with so much history on the preservation of garments through meticulous detail. A lot of my inspiration comes from traditional lacing/ leather techniques.

Simultaneously, there’s so much waste in the leather industry, and in all fashion industries. I sometimes battle with guilt of putting more things on the planet — but really enjoy creating special pieces with individuals that’ll enjoy them for a long time

I really prioritize slowing down, and making things in a way that feels authentic to me.

All of my pieces are hand-punched and hand-laced in my Toronto studio. Majority of my work is hand done.

I prioritize sourcing cutoff, scrap, sample, and vintage leathers, as a way to minimize my waste as designer, and use pieces that might’ve otherwise ended up in landfill.

Pricing is completely dependant on the amount of leather (size), detail and labour that go into your custom.

Generally, smaller leather goods range from 300-500 CAD. Small Purses range from $550-650. Medium bags from 680-1100. Large; anywhere from 1200+

Custom clothing — Is priced out after consultation and will require 1-2 fittings/ adjustment rounds. If you’re not located in Toronto, you’ll provide proper measurements, which your custom will be based on.

I really enjoy playing around with new ideas, concepts and shapes. Focusing on custom and 1/1 pieces allows me to create in way that’s more fluid and inspiring to my learning process as a designer.

My use of scrap/ cutoff leather lends to my pieces being custom and 1/1, being that I can’t always find the same leathers twice.
